The Dent Man started trading in Canada in 1992. After intensive training
in the USA, the Dent Man became a one-man operation in Burlington,
Ontario - this business is still going strong to this day, being run
by a very good friend of ours who has made his home in Canada permanent.
In May of 1993
the Dent Man found his way to the shores of the UK, once again starting
as a one-man operation, then building up to the six strong team we have
today covering the North West and Merseyside areas.
Our primary
business up to now has been trade accounts, however, after so much demand
from the retail sector - and the difficulties associated with getting
this type of work done due to the weather etc., we decided that our
only route would be to invest in a purpose built unit to accommodate
the retail sector. The unit has been operational now for twelve months
and has proved a great success. Customers have traveled from as far
away as the Lake District, Buxton, Manchester and North Wales and we
have several repeat customers - not that we wish dents on our customers
!!!
We are now looking
to expand our operations to the painting of minor damage and the tinting
of vehicle windows in the very near future. To this end, we will be
looking for suitable new employees who must be honest, hardworking and
able to work to a very high standard with the minimum of supervision.
